Peebles sentenced in Daniels Chervrolet embezzlement case

On Wednesday, April 25, in Emanuel County Superior Court, Mintie Heather Lovett Peebles was sentenced to 40 years with the first five to be served in confinement and the remainder on probation for her involvement in an embezzlement case at Daniels Chevrolet of Swainsboro. The defendant was also ordered to pay $1,004,068.09 in restitution to Richard, Ed, and Sam Daniels/Daniels Chevrolet.

She faced one count racketeering and three counts theft by taking.
