Glad Garden Club had the privilege of having June Thomas, Oleander District Director, along with Mary Ogden, judge and director of Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl projects, present a program on activities of Oleander District garden clubs.
It is a little-known fact that several Garden Club of Georgia grants were given to Savannah Area due to hurricane damage. Garden Club of Georgia also has projects and camps for youth such as Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl poster contests.
