Students love technology! Almost everything students do connects to technology in some way, impacting the way they live and play, and, most importantly, how they learn. Technology has become an invaluable tool in the educational process for all students. From preschoolers to seniors, technology allows students to become active participants in learning activities and allows them to progress at their own pace according to their abilities and needs. With technology, education becomes more hands-on, and interactive lessons can turn least favorite subjects into fun and appealing learning experiences.
From young children just beginning their educational journey to seniors preparing for graduation, students in the Emanuel County school system are fully engaged in learning through technology. Through technology, a world of information is at their fingertips, opening doors and creating opportunities that were unknown just a few short years ago. As students sail through the 21st century, the use of technology in classrooms is continually transforming education by changing the ways teachers teach and how students learn. Teachers in the primary grades utilize technology to help students build essential skills, while in high schools the effective use of technology helps ensure student mastery of all skills essential for success in today’s digital world.
