Lady Tigers to host basketball camp

   The Swainsboro High School Lady Tiger basketball program will host an all-girls basketball clinic from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on June 20-22 inside the school’s gym with special guest Harlem Globetrotters legend Larry “Gator” Rivers. Local veterans keep up good work, observe Memorial Day

   The Emanuel County Veterans Center finds many ways throughout the year to honor our nation’s past and current service members right here at home. Recently, the local veterans placed wreaths at Patriots Square downtown on Memorial Day to honor the ultimate sacrifice made by our fallen heroes.

Kiwanians host Pre-K Fun Day

   The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro conducted its annual Swainsboro Pre-K Fun Day at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27. The club donated funds to purchase hamburgers, chips, popcorn, tea, and cotton candy. Kiwanis club hosts Scott beauty pageant

   The 2018 Ms. Scott Health and Rehab Beauty Pageant was held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30. Sponsored by the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club, the pageant was held in the community room of Scott Nursing Home.
