Smith presents special video to Swainsboro Kiwanis Club

   The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting at Catered Creations Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. with President Jim Clapham presiding. There were 21 members in attendance.
   The program for the evening was hosted by Dess Smith III, who showed a film commissioned by the Georgia Army National Guard (GaARNG) to a production company in North Carolina that demonstrated the relationship between today’s citizen soldiers and the citizen soldiers that participated in the American Revolution. 

   The film was entitled War Woman and the Hero of the Hornet’s Nest, referring to Nancy Hart and Elijah Clarke, both Georgia heroes of the American Revolution.
