Rotary hears from Dr. Rozier about Georgia healthcare

   The Rotary Club of Swainsboro held its April 2 meeting at Catered Creations in Swainsboro.  

Al Lawson welcomed club members and called the meeting to order.
   Wade Johnson gave the invocation, and Greg Johnson led the pledge and the Four-Way Test.
      Joey Goodman introduced the speaker for the day, Dr. Sylvia Rozier, director of nursing at East Georgia State College (EGSC). Dr. Rozier, who holds a Doctor of Nursing, thanked Gail Ware for her help and highlighted the collaboration between EGSC and Southeastern Technical College (STC). Dr. Rozier also acknowledged Carl Tankersly for the support from the EGSC Foundation.
   Dr. Rozier has been in the nursing profession for 42 years and has been teaching nursing for more than 30 years. She was a 1976 practical nursing graduate from Swainsboro Area Technical School. Sylvia, as she prefers to be called, is a preacher and a mother.
