Four years ago, Jule Bady and Betty King, residents of the Queen Street neighborhood of Twin City, formed the Graymont Community Park Association. Bady and King recruited other residents of Twin City within the next year. Later, Debra Williams, Stanley Robinson, and Troy Randall became members of the association. Together, these individuals brought their desire to fix up the Princess Street Playground to Main Street, and the two organizations joined forces to fundraise. The event was a great success, the City matched funds, and so began a transformation of the playground with new equipment, a resurfaced basketball court thanks to Mill Creek Foundation, and a bright, new look.
