One injured in Highway 46 West wreck

   The operator of a Chevrolet Cavalier LS 2-door sedan was injured when her vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and collided with some trees. The crash occurred on Thursday, April 6, at approximately 2 a.m. After the female driver was extricated from the heavily damaged vehicle, she was transported by EMS.   

   Responding to the call were Oak Park Police Department and Oak Park Fire Department first responders, Swainsboro Fire Rescue, Emanuel County EMS, and Emanuel County sheriff’s deputies. The Georgia State Patrol investigated the crash.
