Franklin Memorial Library celebrates Dr. Seuss’ birthday

   Franklin Memorial Library threw a birthday bash for famed children’s author Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, on March 2.
   As part of the celebration, attending children spent the better part of the hour taking turns reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books aloud. Afterward, they munched on theme-based snacks such as “Green Eggs and Ham” cupcakes, cheese shaped like The Cat in the Hat, and Goldfish crackers that represented “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.”
