The East Georgia State College Bobcats won their final regular season home baseball game yesterday vs. Georgia Highlands. The Bobcats won by a score of 4 to 3 to take the victory. The Bobcats have five away baseball contests remaining to close out the regular season before the conference tournament on May 9 – 12 in Barnesville, Ga. At present time, the Bobcats have a two-game lead over South Georgia State College, who will simply not go away in pursuing the Bobcats for the top spot for seeding in the tournament.

The East Georgia State College Softball team will close out the regular season home games today vs. South Ga. State College. Game times are set for 2 and 4 p.m. at Bobcat Field. The Lady Bobcats have four remaining games, all of which are extremely important contests, as the Bobcats pursue the top 4 ranking to make the GCAA Tournament. At the present time, the Lady Bobcats are one game out of 4th place behind Georgia Highlands and Gordon State.

Good luck to all of our Bobcats!!!!
