Top academic students recognized at ABAC

   President David Bridges will recognize 827 students who qualified for academic honors during a special  ceremony on April 4 at 3 p.m. in Gressette Gym at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

   Bridges said students receiving Distinguished Honor status are those who have completed 45 or more academic semester hours at ABAC with an overall grade point average of 3.75 or higher, Superior Honor students are those who have completed 15-44 academic semester hours at ABAC with an overall grade point average of 3.75 or higher, and Honor status goes to those who have completed 15 or more academic semester hours at ABAC with an overall grade point average of 3.2 to 3.74. 

  Local students to receive honors will include Mary K. Wheeler and Zachary S. Wood of Adrian, Caleb R. Brown of Nunez, and Brice A. Bonds of Swainsboro.
