   Funeral services for Marie Lee Bell, 76, of Emanuel County were held Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Mosley’s Funeral Home. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She departed this life on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Emanuel Medical Center.

   Mrs. Marie Lee Bell was born on March 17, 1941, to the late Lena Mae Smith and the late Woodrow Smith. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Swainsboro. A native of Emanuel County, she was educated in the Candler County school system. Bell was a cook for many years at Piggly Wiggly Deli, GC’s Restaurant, and Bi-Lo Deli. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, N.H. (J. Smith) Lynda.

   Survivors include two daughters, Teresa (Victor) Bennett of Jacksonville, Florida and Carrie Scott of Albany; five sons, Wendell (Debra) Bell, Matthew (Paula) Bell, Mark (Diana) Bell, Alexander Bell, and Willie (Marcie) Bell of Jacksonville, North Carolina; nineteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

   Pallbearers were family and friends.
