Swainsboro Tigers set sights on region championship

   The regular season is over, and the Swainsboro Tigers (20–4) have positioned themselves perfectly as the undisputed region champ during the regular season. At 14–0 against region opponents, none can question their dominance as they look to repeat as region champions and head into the state playoffs as a No. 1 seed.

   Even though the Tigers ran though their region schedule, they will face a tough test in the region playoffs. Vidalia, Jeff Davis, Metter, and Benedictine are all dangerous teams and could upset Swainsboro if the Tigers aren’t clicking on all cylinders.
