Emanuel County 4-H Foundation holds 68th Annual Meeting

The annual joint meeting of the Emanuel County 4-H Club Foundation and the Emanuel County 4-H Volunteer Leaders Council was held Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Varner 4-H Center.
The meeting was called to order by Mark Crosby, 4-H Foundation president.
Judge Kathy Palmer, 4-H Foundation vice president, welcomed all to the meeting. She spoke about 4-H being a global organization and encouraged everyone to stay involved.
Sarah Beth Kersey, Emanuel County 4-H’er, led the pledge to the American flag. The invocation was given by Esmeralda Hernandez, another Emanuel County 4-H’er.
Those in attendance indulged in a delicious dinner prepared by the food committee. Special thanks were extended by President Crosby to the serving and decorating committees.
