DNA workshop to be held at EGSC

On Saturday, Feb. 17, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., East Georgia State College’s Sudie Fulford Community Learning Center will host DNA and Georgia genealogy expert Yvonne Mashburn Schmidt for a workshop of her specialities. While on hand, she will explain DNA testing, field questions, and talk about the use of third-party tools to help find genealogical matches in the search for ancestors.
The facility limits attendees to 50 people. Registration for the workshop is a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, email Kim Cannady at firstname.lastname@example.org.
