East Georgia State College’s Bobcat athletics had yet another busy week!

The EGSC men’s basketball team defeated South Georgia State College on Saturday, Feb. 3, by a score of 85–65. With that victory, the Bobcats continue their climb up the GCAA conference charts and improved to 5–5 in the conference.
The men’s and women’s Bobcat basketball teams will take to the courts at Albany Tech on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
In EGSC baseball news, the Bobcats fell at home to USC Salkehatchie on Friday, Feb. 2, in two contests. They lost Game 1 by a score of 5–4 and Game 2 by a score of 3–1. The Bobcats looked to redeem themselves on Tuesday, Feb. 6, when they took on USC Salkehatchie at their home field.
The EGSC softball and baseball teams had the best turnouts for camps in the history of the college as Coach Rebecca Hewitt and Coach Dusty Hess each hosted prospect camps for rising high school juniors and seniors on Saturday, Feb. 3.
