Starbird, Jarvis win Kiwanis Resolution Run

   On the cold, crisp morning of January 1, 2018, runners descended upon the campus of East Georgia State College Swainsboro for the running of the 5th annual Kiwanis Resolution Run 5K.

   Registration for the run began at 7:30 a.m., with the official start at 9 am. It was a very cold 31o (wind chill of 25o), a break in the balmy weather this winter.

   The run, sponsored by the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club, was held to raise money for the Kiwanis Club’s many community projects.

   This year’s run could be considered the year of the family with the five running Cerpoviczs (Joelle, Anita, Karolina, Oskar, and Paul) and with three great-great grand masters runners over 70 years of age.
