Graveside services and burial for Patricia “Pat” Gail Edenfield, 70, of Wadley will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens of Dellwood. She passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the Station Exchange Senior Care in Richmond Hill following an extended illness.
Ms. Patricia “Pat” Gail Edenfield was originally from Wadley, but spent most of her adult life in Savannah. She retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Following retirement, she returned to Wadley, where she owned and operated a landscaping business. Edenfield was an active member of Coleman Chapel United Methodist Church in Wadley while living in the area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Friedman M. “Coon” Edenfield and Evelyn Lucille Tapley Edfield; half-sister, Nell Hall of Wadley; and half-brother, James Frederick Hall of Wadley.
Survivors include one brothers, Ronnie Steely Edenfield of St. Petersburg, Fla.; dear friend and caregiver, Claudette Tucker of Port Wentworth; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 138 Canal Street, Suite 304, Pooler, GA 31322, or the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, GA, 31405.
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
