Holy Zion to celebrate 40 years

   On January 18, January 19, and January 21, Holy Zion Church of Metter, located on Mincey Street, will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

   Thursday, Jan. 18, service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature guest speaker Bishop Bertha Jones. Also attending will be guest churches Stillmore Sanctuary, Williams Grove, Holiness of Swainsboro, Holy Zion of Twin City, Holy Holy Statesboro, Jones Temple, Pentecostal Living Way, Mercy Grove, and Mt. Gilead.

   On Friday, Jan. 19, service will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature guest speaker Apostle T.V. Outen. Guest churches will include Ada Grove Pentecostal, St. John, New Hope, Faith Mission Church of All People, New Life Baptist, and Cooper Baptist.

   Final services on Sunday, Jan. 21, will begin with Sunday school at 10:30 a.m., followed by worship service at 11:30. Metter Youth Choir, Metter Praise Team, and Metter Senior Choir will attend. Apostle Linda Travett will guest speak. Pastor Johnny Ray Jones will present a message at 2 p.m., and dinner will be served afterward.

   All in the community are invited.
