Franklin Memorial brings out artistry in local adults

  Approximately 15 participants discovered their inner Picasso during Franklin Memorial Library’s adult painting class. Instructor Ellen Durden, assisted by Gail Ward, showed class members how to express their holiday spirit by painting Christmas ornaments. Christmas music playing in the background served as inspiration as the participants selected their desired colors from a variety of acrylic and canvas paints. They then applied finishing touches to the ornaments by spelling out either their last names or a word representing the season.
