Flanders family loses canine friend of 14 years

Copper Flanders, canine companion of Betty and Jimmy Flanders, passed away quietly Monday, Jan. 1, 2018. Interment was held Wednesday afternoon at the family pet cemetery, located at 1748 Old Louisville Road in Soperton. Attending the final ceremony were Betty and Jimmy Flanders and Vincient, Denison, and Patrick Cooke.

   Copper was born December 31, 2003. His favorite activities were eating, sleeping, and going for walks with anyone willing to take him. He loved visiting his neighbor, Vincient, and eating his favorite treats. Copper was a loving dog who will be greatly missed by Jimmy and Betty.
