Brier Creek Chapter installs 2018 officers

   The Brier Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution (GASSAR), held its monthly meeting Thursday, Jan. 4, at R&D’s Restaurant at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Lee Smith presiding.

   Fifteen members attended and were joined by six guests, Jane Durden, Laura Howard, Rebecca Wildi, Gary Hill, Hayden McCloud, and Sonny Pittman.

   East Region Vice President Homer S. “Chip” Durden asked the incoming East Region Vice President Sonny Pittman to escort the 2018 Brier Creek Chapter officers to the front. Durden then read those officers their “oaths of office” for the coming year.
