Garfield Community Club holds annual Christmas supper

The Garfield Community Club held its annual Christmas supper at 6:30 p.m. on December 8.

   More than 30 members and guests fellowshipped and enjoyed a meal. Nonperishable food items were collected for the needy. Those who did not join in the occasion have an open invitation to next year’s supper.

   Prior to the celebration, members gathered to decorate with embers had gathered prior to the celebration to decorate. The Garfield Community House boasted a Christmas tree, and tables inside were covered in white and trimmed out for Christmas.

   Also, on December 19, members visited Twin View in Twin City. While there, the Garfield Community Club handed out cards, sang songs, and prayed with the residents.
