Lester Grove to celebrate 35 years of ministry

   On November 4 at 4 p.m., Lester Grove Missionary Baptist Church will host its 35th mission ministry anniversary service. Presiding will be Deacon Eddie Lawrence and Fannie Hughes. Mission highlights will be presented by Johnnie B. Durden, followed by devotionals by Deacon Dave Cross and Cendy Lee. Delores Holmes will introduce featured speaker Reverend Walter Holmes, pastor of Gordon Grove in Louisville and Salter Grove of Bartow.

   Guest churches to be in attendance will include Piney Grove, McLeod Covenant, St. Paul of Cobbtown, St. Pall of Summertown, Rountree Island, Gethsemane, Skull Creek II, Johnson Chapel, Smith Grove, Greater St. James, Balls Grove, Mt. Gilead, and Oak Grove.

   Refreshments will be served. Ladies are requested to wear white or beige clothing. Pastor Reverend Charles Holloway and President Deloise Bostic invite all to attend.
