On Sunday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m., the Garfield United Methodist Church will celebrate homecoming. There will be no Sunday school held that morning. The featured speaker for the event will be Reverend D.R. Parker, who served the church for 10 years. Special music will be provided by Dorie Parker Johnson, Daughter of Rev. Parker, and Will Gay. The choir will be open for all who wish to participate in the singing of hymns. A covered dish lunch will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.

The following night, Monday, Nov. 6, a one-night special service will be held featuring guest speaker Reverend Josh Black of Garfield. Special music will be provided by local youth Elijah Worthen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Worthen, and Emily Gaudry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Snellgrove. A covered dish supper will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m., prior to services.

   Everyone is invited to attend.
