   Memorial services for Domenic Maglioli, 98, of Swainsboro will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017,  at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.He passed away Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2017, at Pruitt Health Swainsboro following an extended illness.

   Mr. Domenic Maglioli was born January 14, 1919, in Warwick, R.I., to the late Michael Maglioli and Michellena Santilli Maglioli. He loved working in the yard, traveling, fishing, the Atlanta Braves, and Georgia Bulldogs. He especially loved his family and eating apple pie baked by his daughter, Louise Johnson. Maglioli was a member of the Swainsboro Moose Lodge, and he was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Celia Santilli.

   Survivors include his wife, Betty Maglioli of Swainsboro; son, Michael (Leanne) Maglioi of Athens; stepsons, Terry Luke (Karen) and Randy Scarboro, both of Charleston, S.C.; daughters, Louise Johnson of Athens and Linda Cataldo of Rhode Island; stepdaughter, Judy Glover of Kite; sister, Mary Fortin of Rhode Island; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

   Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
