The Paul Mitchell Southeast Balayage/Hand-Painting Color Tour made their stop at the Southeastern Technical College (STC) Swainsboro Campus on October 23. Both the Paul Mitchell and CosmoProf Team partners were thrilled to be hosted by the amazing Peggy Braswell and her partner instructor, Althea Telfair from the STC Vidalia Campus! Jeremy Bryant, the consultant for local area salons, was responsible for pulling this group of motivated stylists together for this workshop. The training was led by Jason Sapp (Paul Mitchell National Color Educator, Senior Stylist at 67 Styles, Modern Salon magazine featured stylist, and an alumni of Swainsboro Technical College) and Misty Arnold (Paul Mitchell National Color Educator, Owner of 67 Styles, and Mentor to Rising Star Stylists/Educators).
The day’s agenda was filled with the two educators demonstrating the latest in color techniques while the stylists recreated the look themselves! Jason and Misty also shared with them quick efficient ways for their salon guests to intensify, enhance, or extend the life and vibrancy or coolness of their hair color by using the fastest growing trend in the beauty industry, Color Craft, a customizable color conditioning system that can be used in the salon and as a Take Home treatment.
Live models were presented so the attendees could better visualize the possibilities on real hair canvases. The day was filled with an exchange of energy and education! Both Team representatives, Al Cone (Field Sales Manager, CosmoProf) and LaDonna Dryer (Business Development, John Paul Mitchell Systems) commented that the attendees were highly engaged and seemed excited and filled with confidence to execute their enhanced knowledge in their salons! They definitely look forward to facilitating more of these workshops in the near future!
