Irvin Harrison Beasley, 75

   Funeral services for Irvin Harrison Beasley, 75, of Swainsboro were held Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 11 am in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bert Flanders and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. He passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at his residence.

   Mr. Irvin Harrison Beasley was born January 28, 1942, in Swainsboro to the late James Harrison and Estelle Johnson Beasley. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by B.E. & K. Construction for many years. Beasley was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Avis Cribbs; brother, Franklin Beasley; and step-daughter, Donna Olliff.

   Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Martha Hall Beasley; three daughters, Wanda (Mike) Turner, Becky (Ronnie) Royal, and Missy Beasley; one son, James (Cathy) Beasley; sister, Melba (Jim) Kersey of Bluffton, S.C.; brother, Andy (Melanie) Beasley of Normantown; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

   Pallbearers are Jeremy Turner, Aaron Hammond, Koty Royal, Dylan Royal, Nik Bedgood, Kevin Gamiza, Randy Olliff, and Jonathan Olliff. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Beasley, Leroy Wilson, Richard Herndon, and Early Barwick.

   Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
