Deputies with the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) reported…

   October 5

   Complainant struck a deer while traveling on Highway 57 East.

   October 6

   Complainant struck a deer while traveling on Highway 56 South.

   Complainant struck a deer while traveling on Highway 1 South.

   Complainant’s tire blew out while traveling on Interstate 16 East, causing her to wreck.

   Deputies were dispatched to US 1 South in reference to a domestic in progress. Deputies made contact with the victim as well as the offender. Victim was transported to the hospital, and the offender was arrested.

   Complainant struck a deer while traveling on Lambs Bridge Road.

   October 7

   Deputy responded to a child custody dispute.

   October 8

   An abandoned wrecked vehicle on Bishop Chapel Road was located. Said vehicle’s registration was expired. Vehicle was towed.

   Offender accidentally shot victim with 12-gauge shot gun while quail hunting. Victim suffered from wounds to the abdomen and left arm. Victim was transported to the local hopsital, then to a facility in Augusta.

   Complainant filed a report in reference to home vandalism and burglary.

   October 9

   Deputy responded to a residence on Highway 192 South in reference to an unruly individual. Deputy arrived on scene and spoke with the victim and witness, both of whom indicated that offender was asked to leave after an argument occurred between the offender and the victim. Offender would not leave. Upon deputy’s arrival, offender’s behavior erratic. She was arrested and transported to the jail, where she received a verbal warning for criminal trespass and was instructed not to return to the residence.

   Deputies were dispatched to the area of Fairground Road near Modoc Road to assist the Georgia State Patrol with a search for an offender whom had wrecked a vehicle and fled on foot. Wrecked vehicle was searched, and objects recovered indicated the offender possessed marijuana and was involved in drug activity. Evidence was taken into custody and vehicle was towed.
