A candidate biography: Rhonda Jones

Meet Rhonda Jones, candidate for Stillmore City Council. She is the mother of two children, Kinton Raymond, 20, and Monroe Raymond, 14. She is currently employed as a skill trainer and hostess/server at Statesboro Cracker Barrel, as well as a substitute teacher for the Tatnall County School System. Jones also attends Sanctuary Church of the Living God in Stillmore under Bishop Bertha Jones. She has lived in Emanuel County her entire life, specifically Stillmore for 20 years.

   In regards to school, Jones holds a diploma in medical assisting, with 8-10 years of medical experience. She also graduated from East Georgia State College (EGSC) in 2016 with a degree in psychology and is currently enrolling in another college for her behavioral science degree.

   As for her desires for the City of Stillmore, Jones would like to see opportunities for local children and more industries, which would lead to more jobs.
