Swainsboro band students perform at Grand Ole Opry

Seven outstanding Swainsboro High School band students were recently awarded tuition scholarships to attend the Fine Arts Summer Academy (FASA), sponsored by the Annie Moses Band in Nashville, Tenn. The Annie Moses Band typically sponsors two full tuition scholarships for this camp (seventh grade through college sophomore). Not only were all seven of the local students accepted over many students with far more experience, but each of them were also awarded tuition scholarships worth approximately $9,600 to attend the FASA based on their audition DVDs.
