Ruby Lee Henry, 82

   Funeral services for Ruby Lee Henry, 82, of Swainsboro were held Friday, Aug. 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverence Arthur Conley and Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating. Interment followed at the Eastbrook Cemetery. She died Wednesday morning, Aug. 2, 2017 at Candler County Hospital.

   Mrs. Ruby Lee Henry was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County. She was the daughter of the late Leon Edenfield and Rebecca Smith Edenfield. Henry worked for Creston Mills and the Emanuel County Board of Education. She was a member of Mount Shady Baptist Church. Henry was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Henry;  brother, James Smith; grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

   Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Henry, Joe Henry, Davey Henry, and Larry Henry; two daughters, Brenda McGahan and Janet Meeks; one sister, Sue Henry; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

   Arrangements were made by Tomlinson Funeral Home of Swainsboro.
