Mary Frances Freeman, 68

   Funeral services for Mary Frances Freeman, 68, of Swainsboro were held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 12 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

   Mrs. Mary Frances Freeman was born November 26, 1948,  in Galivants Ferry, S.C., to the late Marshall Gore Sr. and Laura Gore. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1967 and married Raymond “Buck” Freeman on August 24, 1968. She resided in Paterson, N.J., from 1959-2007, when she and Raymond moved to Swainsboro. She loved to sing, dance, cook, and was well-known for her macaroni and cheese and potato salad. Freeman was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1972 and zealously shared her strong faith in God’s Kingdom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Freeman Jr., and her mother and father, Laura and Marshall Gore Sr.

   Survivors include her daughters, Laurie Freeman, Brenda Freeman, and Tiffany Freeman, all of Cumming; three sisters, Cynthia Gore Leonard of Marion, S.C., Ramona Page of Mullins, S.C., and Jacqueline Gore Page of Aynor, S.C.; two brothers, Gabriel Gore III of Aynor, S.C., and Marshall Gore Jr. of Kannapolis, N.C.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

   Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
