Black Creek Boy Scout Camp presents plaque to Brier Creek Chapter

During the monthly meeting of the Brier Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, President Craig Wildi received a plaque from the Coastal Council Boy Scouts of America. During the month of June, the Boy Scout camp in Screven County, Black Creek Camp, asked the Brier Creek Chapter to present an American Revolution program to the scouts attending. The programs were given on Tuesdays of three different weeks. Compatriot Tommy Christopher was in charge of the events and was assisted by Compatriots Steve Burke, Don Bazemore, Chip Durden, Wilder Smith, Ruskin Powell, and future Jr. member Jasper Cameron.  The Brier Creek Chapter, GASSAR, is located in Screven County and has a membership of 26. It was chartered November 19, 2016.
