Patricia Peebles Peacock, 75

   Funeral services for Patricia Peebles Peacock, 75, of Haddock were held Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Keith Hood officiating. Interment followed in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. She passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence.

   Mrs. Patricia Peebles Peacock was born on January 25, 1942 in Swainsboro to the late Dolphus and Macy McNeely Peebles. She was a homemaker who loved crossword puzzles, gardening, sewing, and cooking for her family. Peacock was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy Peacock, and sister, Carolyn Lawson.

   Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Boulineauof Bartow, Donna (Danny) Whidby of Haddock, and Ellen (Phillip) Joiner of Milledgeville; one son, Sammy (Paula) Peacock of Gordon; three sisters, Josephine (Pete) Boatright and Peggy Henry, both of Swainsboro, and Brenda (Steve) Jones of Adrian; one brother, Harmon (Linda) Peebles of Lyon; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.

   Pallbearers were Mark Riner, Chad Riner, Brett Jones, Matt Baker, Kenny McNeely, and Tommy Jenkins.

   Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
