Funeral services for Pam Stephens Hooks, 45, of Norristown and formerly of Vidalia were held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Harrell and Reverend Elemer Caraway officiating. Burial followed in the Pinecrest Cemetery. She passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at her home after a brief illness.
Mrs. Pam Stephens Hooks was a native of Wayne County, where she grew up. She attended Altamaha Technical College in Jesup and Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon. She was self-employed and attended the Nunez Baptist Church. She enjoyed the beach at Jekyll Island, cooking, and decorating. Hook was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Obery.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Hooks of Norristown; four children, Amber (Tyler) Shambarger of Cummings, A.J. (Rachael) Smith of Hagerstown, Ind., and Trenton Stephens and Gracey Stephens, both of Lyons; two stepchildren, Crystal Hooks of Atlanta and John (Katelyn) Hooks of Norristown; her parents, Danny and Marsha Harrell Sr. of Lyons, and Sue and Wilton Sellers of Jesup; maternal grandmother, Nellie Nail of Baxley; three sisters, Samantha (Brian) Heath Saluda, Va., Rachel (David) Kuhns of Jesup, and Lisa Harrell of Blackshear; three brothers, Danny Harrell Jr. of Columbus, Earl Griffin of Douglas, and David (Barbara) Sellers of Jesup; five grandchildren, Elija, Alana, Alice, Briley, and Madilyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Anthony, Mike Henry, Scotty Hall, Trenton Stephens, A.J. Smith, and Jeff Jones.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
