Bobbie Faye Leverette Drake, 77

   Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Leverette Drake, 77, of McRae were held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. at McRae United Methodist Church. Interment was followed in the Telfair Memorial Gardens, located in McRae with Rev. Jason Dickerson officiating. She died on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia.

   Mrs. Bobbie Faye Leverette Drake was a member of McRae United Methodist Church and was an interior decorator. She was also the owner and operator of Inside ‘N’ Out before retiring. She and her late husband, Thomas C. Drake III, were the owners and operators of the depot for many years as well. In addition to her husband, Drake was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Reba Leverette of Metter.

   Survivors include her three children, Kathryn Drake Browning, Thomas C. Drake IV, and Toria  Drake (Charles) Coleman; eight grandchildren, Millicent Browning LaMonica, Kallie Browning Medbery, Drake Browning, Emily Drake, Kyle Coleman, Faith Coleman Salter, T.C. Coleman, and Claire Coleman; five great-grandchildren, Emalyn Coleman, River Coleman, Lyla Kate LaMonica, Leverett LaMonica, and Lawton LaMonica; two sisters, June Leverette Williams of Statesboro and Joyce Leverette Lanier of Metter; nieces and nephews, Danny Williams, David (Karen) Williams, Dexter Williams, Patricia Lanier, Randy Lanier, and Terry Lanier; and many cousins.

   Pallbearers were David Williams, Danny Williams, Dexter Williams, Trevor Singleton, Terry Lanier, and Butch Frye.

   Lowe’s Funeral Home of Helena was in charge of arrangements.
