Betty Sue Sutton, 82

Memorial services for Betty Sue Sutton, 82, resident of Swainsboro will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Blankenship and Reverend Paul Leigh officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A luncheon for the family will be held at First Baptist Church of Swainsboro after the service. She died Thursday morning at Scott Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Betty Sue Sutton was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby Attaway Cooper. She retired from the Emanuel County Board of Education, and she was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brad Sutton.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Sutton; sons, Paul T. Sutton, John Hogan Sutton, and Curtis F. Sutton; grandchildren, LeeAnn Kemp, Ryne Sutton and Sara Sutton; step-granddaughter, Alysa Anderson; and six great-grandchildren.

Tomlinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
