Funeral services for Jocelyn Ann Arnold, 88, of Swainsboro will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swainsboro at 12 p.m. with Reverends Rickey Rushing and Nick Hazelton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Swainsboro. Graveside services will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Fla. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017. She died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jocelyn Ann Arnold was born January 6, 1929 in Trenton, Fla. to the late Samuel Hubert Gay Sr. and Pennie L. Grinstead Gay. She owned and operated several florist companies in Orlando, Fla., and she was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Alvin Stewart; brother, Samuel Hubert Gay Jr.; and sisters, Jacqulyn Hood and Marilyn Adams.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Nelson Arnold of Swainsboro; daughter, Connie L. Causey-Stewart of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren, Kandace L. Causey, Chelsie (Kelby) Case, Halsey (Kimberly) Stewart, and Skye D. Stewart; great-grandchildren, Aven G. Brown, Kalob L. Kirkland, Grason R. Sweet, Aubrie A. Bates, Kirstie McDaniel, Dawn McDaniel, Kamron Case, Dava Berrong, Raclael Berrong, Blake Stewart, Halsey T. Stewart, and Jack Dee Stewart; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Calvary United Methodist Church Swainsboro or PruittHealth Hospice.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
