Zoey was featured in the paper last week as missing.  She went missing during the storm on Sunday the 22nd.  The owner Carol Strickland  was hoping she was hiding in the house due to being scared of the storm, but that was not the case, she never came out of hiding.  Miss Carol contacted the staff here at the Blade asking for help to find Zoey. So little Miss Zoey’s picture was place in the paper that Wednesday the 25th. Hoping and praying someone would recognize this small frame, four pound tan female Chihuahua.

Coming back to work on Monday not knowing if she had been found or not, we all get back to the hustle and bustle of getting the paper out for the week.  At 9:22 Henry Wheeler (Graphic Artiest)  gets this email, “Hi!  Zoey was found (thanks to the paper ad!!!!) two days ago on azalea circle.  I’m ecstatic!  Thanks so much!!!!  Carol”.  Now that is what makes this job worth it, when you can help someone.

We’re all glad that Zoey was found and returned home, and surly she was happy to see her loving owner Miss Carol.
