This year’s annual Swainsboro Exchange Club pancake supper is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4. Proceeds from the supper are used to benefit The Sunshine House Regional Children’s Advocacy Center, which serves children and their families in Candler, Emanuel, Jefferson, Toombs and Washington Counties who have been victims of criminal abuse.

Dr. Bobby Sasser and Judge Bobby Reeves are once again serving as captains of the competing teams. Judge Reeves has won the competition for the past three years. The supper will be held on Friday night at Swainsboro High School preceding the Tigers’ last regularly scheduled home game against the Toombs County Bulldogs. Tickets are available from any Exchange Club member or at Queensborough Bank, Plaza Pharmacy, Central Georgia Clinic of Chiropractic, Emanuel Dental Center, Haddock and Holsenback, Custom Products Plus, South Auction and Realty, Williams Photography, Cadle Law Office, and PO Youmans CPA.

Each member of the Exchange Club asks members of the community to do their part in helping the children who are vulnerable and have no other advocate in their time of most need.

The Swainsboro Exchange Club meets every Tuesday at 12 p.m. at Catered Creation on South Green Street. Membership is open to civic-minded individuals. For more information on The Sunshine House and it’s mission, visit www.thesunshinehousecac.com or call 478-237-7801.
