Dr. Tori Kearns, Professor of Psychology, was picked for the American Psychological Association 2016 Teaching Resources Award after the review of numerous submissions by the APA Committee on Associate and Baccalaureate Education (CABE). The committee selected Dr. Kearns’s submission on Cultural Exploration Projects, a lesson she designed and uses in her General Psychology courses. In recognition of this prestigious award, she will be recognized at the CABE/Psi Beta Reception and Awards Ceremony at the APA Annual Convention in Denver, Colo. this August. Dr. Kearns’s innovative submission will also be shared with other psychology teachers across the country through publication on the APA web site and in the CABE Psychology Teacher Network newsletter.
