Memorial services for Timothy Herrington, 45, of Glennville will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Allen Meeks officiating. He died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 at Memorial Health in Savannah.

Mr. Timothy Herrington was born in Swainsboro. He was a member of the Georgia State Defense Force for 10 years, owner of Herrington Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, and was a truck driver. Herrington loved the rodeo, steer wrestling, barrel racing with his wife and daughter, hunting, fishing, wrestling as the ring lord, LARPING, working with horses and helping anyone in need. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, brother and grandfather. Herrington was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Byron and Ruth Brunell Eubanks King, and paternal grandparents, William Arthur and Louise Shepard Herrington.

Survivors include his wife of three years, Jenny Herrington of Glennville, three daughters, Shian Sharpe Herrington of Glennville, Shanna Lynn Herrington of Canoochee and Corrine Nicole Henry of Swainsboro; two sons, Lyn Jones (Megan) of Wadley and Christopher Jones of Midville; father, William Herrington (Rita) of Kite; mother, Faye King Paradise of Swainsboro; one sister, Denise Wingrove (Raymond) of Swainsboro; three brothers, Matthew Herrington (Jeanette) of Hazlehurst, Mike Herrington of Vidalia and William Joseph “Billy Joe” Paradise (Diana) of Lincolton; three grandchildren, Hunter Lee Henry, Charles Collins (Jr.) and Vayda Jones; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jessica Prescott and Joshua Sharpe; and nieces, nephews and extended family

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be made to The Tim Herrington Trust Fund, C/O Spivey State Bank of Swainsboro, P.O. Box 10, Swainsboro, GA  30401.

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
