Stegall obit   Funeral services for Gwendolyn Stegall, 60, were held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at William Grove Holiness Church at 11 a.m. with Bishop Bertha Jones officiating.

   Mrs. Stegall was born to Sinclair Tobler and the late Mable Ricks on May 12, 1954 in Wheeler County, Ga. She graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1972. She was married to the late Bobby Don Stegall. Mrs. Stegall had been a faithful and dedicated member of William Grove Holiness Church, where she taught the youth Sunday school, served on the finance committee, and was the local president of benevolence. She was employed by TRANE in Vidalia for over 15 years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Ricks; and brothers, Bernard Ricks and Maury Tobler.

   Survivors include her father, Sinclair Tobler; grandmother, Rose Lee Stegall of Lumber City; children, Shameka Stegall of Swainsboro, Tekeshia Stegall of Warner Robins, and Wendy Stegall of Atlanta; sisters, Shirley Ann Wright of Douglas, Rosalind Bess and Mary Dannett Fuller of Lumber City, Thelma Howard, Emma Nell Wiley, Lillian Perry, Shantel Gardner, Ruby Ray, Elois Juanita Washington of St. Augustine, Fla.; brothers, Stephen Ricks of Douglas, Robert Tobler and Darren D. Tobler of St. Augustine, Fla.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunts; a goddaughter; a special cousin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

   Pallbearers were Stephen Ricks, Travis Ricks, Bryan McSween, David Harden, Andre Jenkins, Darien Rucker, Min. Jeral Jones and Daniel Harden. Honorary pallbearers were Thurnail Stegall, Golden Stegall, Shuntories Wright, Charles Stegall, Vernie Lee Stegall, Jayvias Lott and Anthony Ricks.

   Mosley’s Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
