Phillip Scott Youngblood, 33

Funeral services for Phillip Scott Youngblood, 33, of Metter were held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 with Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating. Interment was in the Hines Baptist Church Cemetery near Midville. He died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at his residence surrounded by family and under the care of Pruitt Hospice of Swainsboro following an extended illness.

   Mr. Youngblood was born August 12, 1981 to the late Dennis Arnold Youngblood and Sharon Earline Youngblood. He was preceded in death by his son, Lucas Scott Youngblood.

   Survivors include his wife, Patricia Youngblood of Cordelle; daughters, Faith Logan Youngblood of Summertown and Madison Paisley Youngblood of Cordelle; stepson, Garrett Bradley Hall of Cordelle; sisters, Gail (Stevie) Aldrich of Metter and Jennifer (Tony) Lesley of Canal Point, Fla.; second mother, Mary Youngblood of Twin City; brothers, John (Paula) Valliere of Ashburn, Va. and Patrick (Sherry) Valliere of Swainsboro; five nephews, four nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

   Pallbearers were Kevin Bird, Billy Mills, Donny Mills, Lee Womack, Daniel Womack, Patrick Valliere, Randy Bird and John Deckle.

   Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in memory of Phillip Scott Youngblood, c/o Chapman Funeral Home, 427 North Main St., Swainsboro, GA 30401.

   Chapman Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
