Miss Timms and Mr. Dale to wed October 11

Chris and Joy Timms of Wrens are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Marilyn Denice Timms, to Bradley Tyler Dale, son of Roger and Marie Dale of Kite.

   The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and Dorothy Timms of Wrens, Paula Stickle of Bartow and Doyle Couch of Dalton and the late Annelle Couch. She is also the great-granddaughter of Grace Fiscus of Louisville and the late Lloyd Fiscus. Miss Timms is a graduate of Southeastern Technical College where she received her pharmacy tech and practical nursing diploma. She plans to attend Darton State College in January 2015 to continue her education and obtain her registered nurse degree. 

   The groom-elect is the grandson of Alden and Peggy McPeters of Burnsville, N.C. He is the great-grandson of Mabel Blevins of Tignall and the late Calvin Blevins. Mr. Dale is a graduate of Southeastern Technical College where he received a diploma in forest technology. He is currently employed as a supervisor by Battle Lumber Company.

   The wedding is planned for October 11, 2014 at 4 p.m. at George L. Smith State Park in Twin City. A reception will follow at the same location. Formal invitations will be sent.
