Anthony Antonio “Black” Tarver, 26

   Funeral services for Anthony Antonio “Black” Tarver, 26, were held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at God’s Holy Tabernacle with Pastor Amos Handsom officiating, assisted by Pastor Demones Kelly. Interment was in the Kirkland Cemetery in Summertown. He died Saturday, June 14, 2014.

   Mr. Tarver was born November 27, 1987 in Millen to the late Herbert Carswell and Lois Buffaloe. He was employed at Sento Painting.

   Survivors include his significant other, La’Daysha Knight; one son, Spencer Tarver; two daughters, Paris Tarver and Diamond Tarver; his mother, Lois Buffaloe of Garfield; two brothers, Curtis Tarver and Jermell Tarver of Swainsboro; grandparents, Franke Mae Tarver and Jessie Tarver, both of Garfield, and Carrie Carswell and Willie Bynes, both of Twin City; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   Pallbearers were Prentice Tarver, James Williams, George Brown, Rosevelt Carlyle, Ladarius Sherrod and Jonathan Brown.

   Mosley’s Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
