Emanuel County Sheriff’s Deputies reported:

   June 13

   Victim on Buckeye Rd. stated that the suspect refused to allow her to pick up their children for her weekend of custody.

   June 14

   Victim on Oak Valley Rd. stated that the suspect came to her residence very intoxicated and started hitting her in the mouth, causing injury.

   Funeral services for Juanita Brown Wadley, 59, were held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Greater St. James Baptist Church with Paster Bennie Brinson presiding and Rev. Willie Harden officiating. Interment followed in the Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died Thursday, June 19, 2014.

   Funeral services for Anthony Antonio “Black” Tarver, 26, were held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at God’s Holy Tabernacle with Pastor Amos Handsom officiating, assisted by Pastor Demones Kelly. Interment was in the Kirkland Cemetery in Summertown. He died Saturday, June 14, 2014.

   Mr. Tarver was born November 27, 1987 in Millen to the late Herbert Carswell and Lois Buffaloe. He was employed at Sento Painting.
