Miss Womack to wed Mr. Lauer May 24

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Womack of Garfield are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tessie Ann Womack, to Michael A. Lauer of Acworth. The future groom in the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lauer of Acworth. 

   The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Uriel Machean, the late Ettis Larson and the late Eddie Womack, Sr. Miss Womack is a 2008 graduate of ECI. She is a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received her bachelor of Science in early childhood education. She is currently employed at Beaver Rudge Elementary School in Norcross.

   The groom-elect is the grandson of Jim and Tillie Wood of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Josephine and Theodore Lauer, Sr. of Belford, N.J. Mr. Lauer is a 2008 graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School. He attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He graduated in 2013 with a bachelor in muti-media communication. He is currently employed by Business Radio-X in Atlanta. 

   The couple will make their home in Roswell.

   The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 5 p.m. at Canfield United Methodist Church in Garfield. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Belle House in Statesboro. Formial invitations will be sent.
