SPS holds canned food drive

Swainsboro Primary School students held a canned food drive to help local food charities in honor of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Kindergarten students brought in 681 cans. First grade donated 1,190 cans and second grade brought in 920 cans of food.  The top class totals were: Gina Brown’s class with 168 cans, Cindy Riner’s class turning in 194 cans, and the class turning in the most cans was Heather Canady’s class. The total number of cans collected was 2,791.
